Privacy Policy

Effective October 1, 2026

This policy explains what ThermPort (the app) and thermport.com (the website) do with data. The short version: the app keeps everything on your Mac and only goes online when you ask it to, and the website has no analytics and sets no cookies.

The app

ThermPort samples your Mac's sensors (temperature, CPU, memory, fan, GPU, battery, network, disk, power, Wi‑Fi) and stores the live history in memory and a long-term history of one-minute averages in ~/Library/Application Support/ThermPort. Nothing is sent anywhere automatically. There is no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking of any kind.

The app connects to the internet only in these cases, each triggered by you or by a setting you turned on:

The website

thermport.com is a static site served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs under its own privacy policy. We run no analytics and set no cookies. The page loads approved ratings from reviews.thermport.com; nothing about you is sent in that request beyond the ordinary web request itself.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your payment details, billing address and email under its own privacy policy and terms. We receive the order details needed to deliver and support the product: your email address, country, order number and license key. We never see your card number.

Email

Messages sent to sales@, contact@ or feedback@thermport.com are forwarded to our mailbox and kept as long as needed to help you.

Your choices

Children

ThermPort is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with its effective date.
